Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Egypt Ambassador Ivan Surkos, along with Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khaled Abdel Ghaffar and Minister of Electricity and Energy Mohammad Shaker. inaugurated on Tuesday the Multipurpose Applications by Thermodynamic Solar (MATS) Plant in Borg El Arab city, Alexandria.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) Mahmoud Sakr and a number of the ambassadors of the EU member states.
Al-Basmalah has erected one of the heaviest equipment at TCI Sanmar Chemical Plant. The equipment was a boiler that weighs 180Ton and Dimensions of 13.5m(Length), 8m (Width) and 7.9m (height). The boiler was manufactured in India and erected at PVC-2 unit.
TCI Sanmar Group for chemicals is the largest Indian investor in Egypt, located in Port Said.
